Physician assistants (or PAs as they are commonly called) can devote their time to people who do not necessarily need patient care that requires the highly specialized training of a doctor. Although they are not called doctors, physician assistants do practice medicine and perform many of the jobs doctors do. Physician assistants can take medical histories, examine and treat patients, order and interpret laboratory tests and X-rays, make diagnoses, treat minor injuries, instruct and counsel patients, and order therapy. PA’s can also prescribe medicines. Our PA’s are dedicated to quality, personal patient care and the lifelong practice of healthy habits.
Our physician assistants work only under the supervision of doctors.
